Packaging Associate

Patriot Industries is seeking a talented & professional Packaging Associate to participate in our packaging operations and activities. Packaging Associate responsibilities include marking, storing materials, picking, packing, cleaning and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Day Shift - Core hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

 Receive and process packaging stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
 Pack product accurately in accordance with sizing chart, neatly
 Meet daily packing quotas established by Management
 Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
 Report any discrepancies or shortages of product or material
 Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
 Operate and maintain packaging supplies and equipment
 Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Skills:

 Proven working experience as a packaging worker
 Familiarity with modern packaging practices and methods
 Good organizational and time management skills
 Ability to lift heavy objects
 Forklift certification, recommended

Pay: non-exempt hourly (time and a half for over 40 hours per week). This position is also eligible for Patriot's discretionary, profit-sharing bonus program.
