Pay: $65,000 - $85,000

We are looking to hire an Operations and Training Specialist to join our team in Herndon, VA. This position reports to the Program Manager.
The Operations & Training Specialist will support the project management team to support daily operations management, scheduling, staffing, tracking travel document expiration dates, invoicing, ensuring personnel are current on training requirements, making travel arrangements for program personnel, and other miscellaneous tasks.
The Operations and Training Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate travel, develop training schedules for personnel, and coordinate schedules with training staff
- Ensure position suitability requirements are met
- Participate in issue resolution actions
- Participate in the leadership selection process
- Provide recruiting support for program personnel
- Reconcile and code travel expenses
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree
- Must possess at least of two (2) years of operations administration experience.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate professional communication via verbal, written, and email correspondence in English.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.
- U.S. Citizenship
Required Security Clearance:
- Minimum of a U.S. Government Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work at a desk using computers and other typical office equipment for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
