Community Engagement Specialist

This role is responsible for managing our social media presence, executing digital marketing campaigns, and maintaining website updates. The ideal candidate will serve as a brand ambassador, actively supporting community events, volunteer opportunities, and financial education initiatives. This position requires flexibility, as some evenings and weekends may be necessary based on event schedules. We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual who can efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), creating and curating content to engage members.
• Support community events, sponsorships, and local partnerships to boost financial wellness.
• Analyze digital campaign performance and optimize strategies for better engagement.
• Update the website with relevant information and identify trends in user behavior.
• Assist with email, SMS, and other digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Serve as a brand ambassador at community events and assist in volunteer recruitment.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of similar experience.
• Strong social media, communication, and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with digital analytics tools and campaign optimization.
• Ability to coordinate and support events that promote the credit union’s mission.
• Availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed for community events.

Education:

Two-year degree or equivalent experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.66 - $27.99 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
