Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Patriot Engineering and Environmental is growing and is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our talented and impactful team to be based out of Indiana. Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, Patriot Engineering and Environmental is an Employee Owned, diverse engineering firm with a multi-state locations and presence providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing services and consultation to commercial, industrial and governmental clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding inspection on project sites
• Welding inspection at fabrication shops
• Qualifying welders for projects
• Visual inspection
• WPS verification

Qualifications Experience:

• Experience with structural components utilizing AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5 codes
• NDE certificates a plus
• Experience on large projects a plus
• OSHA training and certs a plus
• Experience with utility, process, and sanitary piping
• Overtime and after-hours work are available and sometimes required.
• Weekend availability based on business needs is required.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
