Job Opening: EMT Field Supervisor | Location: Sugar Hill, GA
Patriot EMS is hiring a Field Supervisor for our NorthEast Georgia team. We are looking for an experienced EMS professional who is ready to lead from the front, not from behind a desk. This is a working supervisory role. You will carry a full provider load while serving as the on-shift clinical and operational lead for your crews. If you are the kind of provider who takes ownership of the shift from start to finish and holds the people around you to a higher standard, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field crews during all assigned transports and standby coverage
- Conduct morning truck checks, unit inspections, and crew briefings at shift start
- Assign calls and manage on-shift resources to support efficient, on-time operations
- Provide real-time coaching and quality feedback on patient care and documentation
- Serve as the primary on-shift resource for crew questions, clinical concerns, and operational issues
- Step in as a provider when staffing gaps occur
- Collect, process, and submit shift paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain active communication with the HQ Comms Center throughout the shift
- Enforce uniform, professionalism, and safety standards in the moment
- Report high-risk situations, incidents, and unresolved issues to the Regional Manager
- Complete Patient Care Reports, incident documentation, and shift reports as required
- Attend required meetings and support periodic trainings
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Georgia EMT, EMT-I, AEMT, or Paramedic license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Minimum 2 years of field experience in ambulance or interfacility transport operations
- Prior supervisory, field training, or team leader experience strongly preferred

Work Environment
This position involves field work in diverse and sometimes demanding environments. Team members must be prepared to:
- Work in various weather conditions and potentially hazardous situations

- Adapt to changing schedules and extended shifts due to call volume
- Attend occasional meetings and trainings outside of regular hours
- Lift, carry, and move up to 200 lbs, with or 100lbs without assistance
