What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at Patriot Construction?

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Forman to lead our concrete crew. Must have experience in layout and all phases of concrete.
- The concrete foreman will operate and properly maintain equipment to keep it clean and operating.
- He or she will need to acquire an in-depth understanding of each project and ensure quality control on the job.
- The foreman must have a working knowledge of general construction safety policies and procedures, ensure adherence to all health and safety standards (PPE), and maintain awareness of threats on any job site.
- He or she will document and track daily activities, quantities, locations and hours and will communicate any change orders to the superintendent.
Qualifications:
- Be self-motivated and exhibit a team-first, results-driven approach to completing jobs on time and on budget.
- Excellent organizational prioritizing skills, as well as an ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, is a must.
- He or she must possess strong communication skills, including negotiation and problem solving, and must be willing to give and follow directions and be able to see what needs to be done and do it without being asked.
- Thoroughness, efficiency, reliability, and exact timeliness are critical!
Pay will depend on Experience
