What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Patriot Construction Services, Inc.?
Patriot Construction Services, Inc . (PCS) has an immediate opening for the position of Construction Laborer. Minimum of 2 years construction background and 2 years of licensed commercial driving is a must. Underground telecom construction, concrete and asphalt experience a plus.
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted, drivers license and must maintain a safe driving record. (2 year minimum and acceptable driving history)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and stand for long periods of time
- Minimum lifting requirement 50 lbs.
- Upon acceptance of offer of employment, must pass criminal background screening, drug test and driving record review - subject to random drug screening
- Excellent communication skills are a necessity
- ATSSA Flagger, Confined Space, Fall Protection, CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10 certifications must be completed within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities and Duties
Driving trucks, towing trailers, digging trenches, setting utility vaults, boxes and cabinets, operating power tools, operating compaction equipment, doing light concrete and asphalt repairs, light landscape restoration, utility locating, vacuum excavation, directional drilling, trenching, manhole path investigations, traffic control setup, flagging operations, de-watering, confined space work.
Qualifications and Skills
General construction experience. Operating experience - mini excavator & skid steer. Towing experience - towing construction trailers & equipment.
