Core Responsibilities
1. Internal Service Support
- Supply technicians with correct parts quickly and accurately
- Minimize technician downtime
- Proactively notify advisors of backorders or delays
- Confirm VIN accuracy before ordering parts
- Maintain organized staging areas for special orders
2. Retail & Wholesale Sales
- Assist walk-in and phone customers professionally
- Upsell related components (filters, hardware, fluids, kits)
- Quote accurately and follow up on pending estimates
- Convert incoming calls into sales
3. Inventory Control
- Receive and stock parts daily
- Ensure accurate bin locations
- Maintain clean and organized shelves
- Participate in cycle counts and annual inventory
- Protect department from shrinkage
4. Profitability Standards
- Maintain target gross profit margins
- Follow matrix pricing guidelines
- Monitor returns and minimize unnecessary credits
- Ensure proper warranty tagging and tracking

- Internal fill rate target: 90%
- Counter gross profit %: 42%
- Lost sales tracking accuracy: 100% documented
- Return rate below dealership benchmark
- Technician wait time: Minimal / documented
