We are seeking clinicians who enjoy reviewing medical records, analyzing clinical information, and writing clear medical assessments. No prior experience with disability evaluations is required. Comprehensive training is provided.
Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented medical reviewer with clinical/medical experience to assist our physician with comprehensive medical record review, evidence gathering, and completion of VA disability claims. This is a non-clinical, computer-based role focused on medical record review and report completion. There is no patient interaction, treatment, prescribing, procedural responsibilities. Primarily onsite with occasional remote work opportunities based on practice needs and performance.
Responsibilities
- Review electronic medical records and supporting documentation.
- Analyze medical history, diagnoses, laboratory results, imaging studies, and specialist reports, and assist physician in completing standardized medical reports and questionnaires.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, evidence-based, VA-compliant, HIPAA-secure, and completed collaboratively to optimize efficiency and turnaround time.
Required Qualifications
- PA, NP, Advanced RN, Medical School, Foreign Medical Graduate Experience required
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to interpret: Medical diagnoses, Imaging reports, Labs and procedural findings
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate large, complex medical records efficiently
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfort working with standardized medical templates and structured documentation
