We're hiring a weekend janitor for the Memaloose Rest Area on I-84 near Mosier. This is a steady, low-stress role with a set schedule. We want to make this rest area look nice for the traveling public — if that matters to you, this job's a good fit.
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7 AM to 3 PM (8-hour days)
Duties (main):
- Clean and restock restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers, walls, floor)
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Pick up litter around the grounds
Other duties as needed:
- Clean trash cans
- Clean picnic tables
- Remove cobwebs from buildings
- General upkeep to keep the whole rest area looking nice
What to expect:
- All supplies, materials, and training provided
- No janitorial experience required
- Our customer is on site if you need assistance
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable transportation — you'll commute between the eastbound and westbound rest areas during your shift
- Able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 per week
