Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The shift is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the I-84 rest area near La Grande, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a valid drivers license. applicants without a drivers license need not apply.
Duties (Both Eastbound and Westbound facilities utilizing company pickup)
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking supplies in restrooms.
- Emptying trash cans along the sidewalks.
- Picking up litter on the grounds and in the parking lots.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Valid drivers license is mandatory.
- Cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy trash bags onto the pickup effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
