Professional Support

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for diverse patient populations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and caregivers for continuity of care
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely manner
• Educate patients and their families on speech and language development and treatment techniques
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy

Job Requirements

• Ability to drive
• Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity sufficient for patient assessment and care
• Occasional need to bend, stoop, reach, and move patient weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred but not required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must have criminal background check
• Must have current CPR (BLS) certification
