Position Summary
Patriot Aerotech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator to support daily maintenance operations at CVG. This role serves as a critical link between maintenance teams, operations, and clients, ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are properly scheduled, documented, and completed in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule aircraft maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and unscheduled maintenance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between maintenance technicians, flight operations, and customers.
- Track aircraft status, maintenance progress, and return-to-service timelines.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Monitor parts inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Assist in planning hangar space utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records in company systems and ensure proper logbook entries.
- Support quality assurance processes and audits.
- Communicate delays, issues, or changes in maintenance schedules to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance coordination, MRO environment, or aviation operations strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 91, 121, or 135 as applicable).
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., TRAX, AMOS, or similar).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inventory control and logistics coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documents.
Work Environment
- Based at CVG airport facilities, with occasional exposure to hangar and ramp environments.
- May require flexibility to support evenings, weekends, or on-call situations depending on operational needs.
