Patricks’s is a local Irish pub that’s a staple in the Saint Peter area. We have live music weekly, an amazing patio that allows pets, and fantastic employees who make it all a great time to dine, drink, and work here. We are dedicated to providing excellent service, quality food, and even better drinks! With 32 beers on tap, rotating cocktail lists and food specials, there’s something for everyone.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, retain clientele, and enhance the overall guest experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Recording gambling inventory nightly (pull tabs and e-tabs) with accuracy, as well as implementing cash handling policy
- Support all staff in running food, drinks and bussing tables.
- Following direction of your immediate supervisors and ownership
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, resolve any issues promptly, and ensure a positive atmosphere for all patrons.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests and enhance either experience.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Effective communication skills are a must.
- The ability to adapt to new menu, drink, and standards of service.
- Must be able to follow directions of supervisors and asking questions for clarity.
- Knowledge of food safety process, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Experience in the food industry, including restaurant experience, retail math, or banquet service is highly desirable, but not required.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
- Familiarity with concepts such as distilling and brewing processes will enhance your versatility in this role, and will increase success.
- Weeknight and weekend availability is a must!
