Job Summary: The Electrical Field Manager oversees all electrical operations within the organization. This role provides leadership, guidance, and technical support to field personnel performing on-site services, including installation, repair, and maintenance activities. The manager ensures that all field work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while meeting project timelines and maintaining customer satisfaction. This position combines operational oversight with hands-on technical expertise—leading field teams, coordinating resources, enforcing compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and driving operational excellence across multiple project sites. The Electrical Field Manager reports directly to the Director of Field Operations.
Job Duties:
Manage field employee staffing, scheduling, training, evaluations, required certifications and personnel related needs
Ensure all field activities comply with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and company safety and quality standards.
Promptly respond to ROC, BBB and customer complaints; define the customers’ issues, needs/request and determine the best course of action to resolve the problem. Perform follow-up tasks as needed to ensure complete resolution/customer satisfaction.
Ensure fleet vehicles driven by direct reports are properly maintained through safety checks, regular cleaning, vehicle inspections and scheduled maintenance.
Participate in and direct activities related to the implementation and enforcement of all associated safety requirements/procedures
Facilitate proper use, completion and submission of documents required for each field related job, task or sale.
Manage adherence to all other associated company policies and procedures
Perform regular, random sample, field audits
Manage and maintain department budgets
Actively seek out ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Create and foster an atmosphere that promotes open communication and positive morale
Assist managers and employees from other departments as needed to resolve issues within your area of expertise
Drive new company initiatives
Be an active, consistent participant in Manager On-Call rotation (nights/weekends)
Other tasks or duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required; technical or vocational training or Bachelor’s degree preferred
10 years of progressive experience in electrical fieldwork, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or multi-site management role.
Proven ability in creating, leading and driving teams/projects
Satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider
Basic understanding of ServiceTitan Software desired
Drug free
Valid driver’s license
