Role Overview:

The Wholesale Parts Manager oversees the daily operations of the Wholesale Advisors and drivers. The Wholesale Parts Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and that their parts and accessories requests are fulfilled to the best of their ability. The Wholesale Parts Manager is expected to strive to exceed KPIs as outlined by the motor group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist wholesale account customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
  • Manage all online orders through multiple online platforms.
  • Stay up to date with manufacturer training.
  • Work with the marketing department to produce advertising and marketing as necessary.
  • Manage all returns and refunds efficiently.
  • Manage dispatch and driver schedules daily. 
  • Create and supervise employee scheduling. 
  • Conduct employee performance reviews as necessary.
  • Monitor all employee time punches.
  • Supervise and lead a team of parts sales representatives, and support personnel.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Set performance targets and monitor individual and team achievements. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized invoice records.
  • Negotiate with customers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and discounts.
  • Prepare invoices for parts to be delivered to wholesale customers.
  • Locate and order parts as needed.
  • Maintain and solicit wholesale accounts in person and/or digitally. 
  • Meet specified monthly targets and goals.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the motor group by working with all customers, teams, and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive attitude.
  • Be at work on time or early (no exceptions).
  • Be team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals.
  • All other duties assigned by management.


Experience Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Computer, mathematics and communication skills must be at an intermediate level.
  • Strong decision-making ability and organization are required.
  • Employee must have attention to detail.
  • Employee must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.
  • Ability to speak/write/understand Spanish is a plus.

 

Training and Certifications required (to be started upon hire):

  • Manufacturers Certification for the job described.  
  • Engage with PMG training platform(s) (I.e. Leadership training, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Employee must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.    
  • Employee must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). College education is preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

Employee must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Use their hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repeat the same movements for over 8 hours a day. Occasionally need to lift/push/pull items up to 50 lbs. Occasional bending, walking, and mobility will be necessary. Employee must be able to get in and out of vehicles and shovel/ assist with snow removal when necessary. Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop/bend, and reach is required. Employee must be able to speak clearly for repetitiously for over 8 hours a day. 

 

Supervisory: 

This position supervises the Wholesale Parts Department.
