DESCRIPTION:
Patricio Enterprises is looking for a Fielding and Sustainment Technician( FST) to support clients in the management or direction of logistics support for multiple programs. The FST Technician will provide direct support to the client in the planning, coordinating and execution of numerous logistics efforts in the sustainment support for US Marine Corps Family of Incident Response Systems (FIRS), Fire Fighter Systems (FFS). **MUST HAVE Airport and/or Military FIREFIGHTING/FIRE RESCUE EXPERIENCE**
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Maintain appropriate Defense Chemical Test and Evaluation (DCTE) certification required to perform machine testing of respirators.
- Maintain appropriate manufacturers certification on a variety of different equipment
- Conduct DCTE maintenance and repair including intermediate level maintenance, upon completion of DCTE maintenance certification as required.
- Operate designated surveillance support equipment such as sealers, air compressors, special tools, and Material Handling Equipment as required.
- Flow testing/maintenance for 3M/Scott Airpack 75 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Maintenance and Inspection of DRSKO Kits
- Conduct Annual Maintenance on Holmatro Extrication Systems, 3 separate configurations
- Operate and conduct mask testing on Joint Service Mask Leakage tester (JSMLT).
- Develop and sustain subject matter expertise of all CBRND equipment and related emergency fire and rescue equipment, and family of incident response systems and provide related technical support to FST East, West and West Pac and other customers as requested.
- Review and comment on technical manuals, validation efforts, provisioning data, training packages, and other logistics-related deliverables.
- Plan and execute effective product support strategies to meet established goals for operational effectiveness and readiness of the ISC.
- Conduct visual inspections, functional tests, and/or machine testing to evaluate the condition and quality of retail/owner and wholesale equipment in accordance with established directives and procedures.
- Generate equipment surveillance reports and associated EARS data from surveillance efforts.
- Review system parts lists and make recommendations on the table of allowance.
- Submit all required requests for the expenditure of funds (i.e. travel requests, transportation requests, and procurement requests).
- Comply with host facility regulations relevant to safety and environmental issues.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA with a minimum of three (3) years of general experience or HS/GED diploma with a minimum of five (5) years of general experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years CBRND/expeditionary fire rescue/ DRSKO or relevant experience.
- MUST HAVE MILITARY and/or AIRPORT FIREFIGHTING/FIRE RESCUE EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required to stand for prolong periods of time.
