Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support building projects, site development, and infrastructure improvements. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform grading, excavation, lifting, and material handling tasks.
- Manage and operate specialized vehicles including concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and farm machinery as needed for various project phases.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to timelines and specifications.
- Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and transporting materials across the construction site.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and operational reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery including Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other major brands.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to operate various types of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Join us in building something great!
