A growing, multi-concept hospitality group is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a high-volume, full-service restaurant. This role is ideal for a chef-leader who balances creativity with operational discipline and thrives in an environment where food quality, consistency, and team development are non-negotiable.
The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, menu execution, and culinary standards while developing and leading a strong back-of-house team. This position plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience, driving profitability, and maintaining the brand’s culinary identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing culinary team
- Oversee menu execution, recipe adherence, and food cost controls
- Manage ordering, inventory, waste reduction, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Collaborate with leadership on menu development, seasonal features, and innovation
- Maintain labor efficiency while supporting a positive kitchen culture
- Uphold brand standards and contribute to overall operational excellence
Qualifications
- High energy, Great attitude
- Minimum 3–5 years of Executive Chef - Leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume ($2M ) restaurant
- Proven success managing food costs, labor, and kitchen profitability
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience building systems, training programs, and kitchen standards
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
