Junior High Volleyball Coach
Paton-Churdan Community School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior High Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our junior high volleyball program.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct effective practices and competitions.
- Teach and develop student-athletes' volleyball skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
- Provide leadership, encouragement, and mentorship to student-athletes.
- Collaborate with school administration, coaching staff, and other stakeholders.
- Support the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
- Follow all school district, conference, and state athletic association rules and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and game strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the community.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain the appropriate Iowa coaching license prior to coaching.
- Successful completion of required background checks and other employment requirements.
