Mosquito Control Technician

STARTING WAGE IS $20/hr SEASON BONUS COMMISSIONS

• Base pay is $20/hr (weekly pay). Expect 20-30 hours per week.

Patio Patrol - Mosquito and Tick Control

Patio is hiring a part-time seasonal (April-October) Mosquito and Tick Control Technician. This job requires you to drive a company-branded van to different work sites in Montgomery/Chester/Delaware counties. You will use a backpack sprayer to treat our customers' yards with pesticides and organic pest control. This job requires you to be in very good physical shape, including being able to lift and carry a 50-pound backpack around at each job site. We typically start working at 7:30 am and work 5-8 hour days (depending on daily route and weather conditions).

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will inspect and treat yards for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Educate customers on the service, procedures, and expectations
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides in accordance with State and Federal laws
• Monday thru Friday

Qualifications:

• Start a career with us. No experience necessary. We will train you!
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years)
• A background check will be performed on all new hires
