Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including cooking, cleaning, and food preparation techniques.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
