Patients First Immediate Care is seeking a part-time Urgent Care Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The Role
Patients First Immediate Care is seeking a part-time Urgent Care Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. What You Will Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, lab work, 12-lead EKG)
- Prescribe medications and therapies per state regulations and clinic protocols
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
- Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience (Preferred)
