In this role, you will work closely with the Implementation Lead and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, high-quality onboarding experiences for each new client.The Implementation Specialist is a key contributor throughout the entire onboarding lifecycle—from initial client introduction through successful go-live. You will ensure that all technical, operational, and administrative tasks are completed with precision and clear communication. Acting as a central coordinator and “point guard,” you will keep projects moving forward, anticipate needs, and ensure both internal stakeholders and clients are fully supported every step of the way.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Coordination & Relationship ManagementServe as a primary point of contact for new clients throughout the onboarding and implementation lifecycle.Lead or participate in client calls to explain processes, requirements, timelines, and expectations.Build strong, professional relationships with client stakeholders across IT, operations, billing, and administrative teams.Proactively follow up to obtain required documents, access forms, data, and outstanding items needed to maintain forward progress toward go-live.Project & Workflow ManagementMaintain organized documentation, notes, and client records to ensure visibility and alignment across internal teams.Track multiple concurrent implementations with varying timelines and dependencies.Coordinate with internal teams—including IT, Billing, Operations, and leadership—to ensure all requirements are met in a timely manner.Identify project bottlenecks and adjust communication or strategies to help move tasks to completion.Technical & Operational SupportAssist with technical setup needs, including system access forms, SFTP connections, file exchanges, and related onboarding requirements.Gather, organize, and route technical information between clients and internal technical teams.Monitor outstanding tasks and escalate issues when necessary to ensure project timelines are maintained.Internal CollaborationWork closely with the Implementation Lead to ensure all implementations are consistent, efficient, and delivered on schedule.Engage appropriate internal stakeholders based on project needs, ensuring cross-functional alignment.Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas to improve workflows, processes, and implementation best practices.Qualifications & SkillsMust-Have SkillsExceptional organization — ability to manage complex, fast-moving projects with precision.Strong attention to detail — ensures nothing is overlooked across multiple clients and internal teams.Excellent communication skills — clear, professional, and timely communication with both clients and colleagues.Adaptability & flexibility — comfortable navigating shifting priorities, changing timelines, and dynamic client needs.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.Without a degree: 4–5 years of relevant professional experience recommended.With a degree: 2 years of experience preferred.Experience in coordination, client engagement, project tracking, or cross-functional support roles (e.g., project coordinator, implementation assistant, account coordinator, administrative project support, junior project manager).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in industries such as healthcare, technology, finance, or operations is a plus, but not required.
