Clinical Medical Assistant

Job Summary
The Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals in various clinical settings. This position involves assisting with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy, as well as experience in geriatrics, urgent care, outpatient services, or specialized areas such as dermatology and PICU.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in various settings including outpatient clinics and urgent care facilities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with coding standards and systems.
• Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and stocking supplies, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Support patients during their visits by answering questions and providing information about procedures and treatments.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records.

Requirements

• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience in geriatrics, urgent care, outpatient services, or specialized areas such as dermatology or PICU is preferred.
• Ambitious and Willing to learn.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
