Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Assistant/Expanded function dental assistant located in Canton, OH. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during patient care appointments by preparing treatment areas, handling instruments, and maintaining sterilization protocols. Responsibilities also include assisting with oral care procedures, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient records. Exceptional patient interaction and adherence to best practices for dental care are essential aspects of the role. This job is a floater position, experience in the clinical portion and front office is a plus.
Qualifications
- Front Desk and Clinical experience
- Radiology License
- Proficiency in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care practices
- Experience in Dental Assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of proper Sterilization practices and infection control standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist diverse patient needs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dental Assisting certification or Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification
- Previous experience in a Dental Office
- Open Dental Software
