Job Coach

At Pathways For Life, we create possibilities for individuals with disabilities. Our Studio Works program offers preparation, training and experience to support our members in obtaining meaningful community integrated employment.

Studio Works is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Job Coach to join our team in empowering young adults and adults with developmental disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will provide hands-on support, mentorship, and guidance to help individuals build meaningful employment skills and thrive in inclusive work environments.

As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in helping our members develop essential work-related habits, professional attitudes, and appropriate workplace behavior. You will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with our partners to ensure the long-term success for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and support at job sites, volunteer opportunities, training sessions, etc.
• Assist individuals in learning job tasks and adapting to workplace environments
• Encourage and reinforce appropriate work behavior and etiquette
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to both members and supervisor
• Collaborate with employers to promote inclusive employment practices
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports

Qualifications:

• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to build trusting relationships with both members and community partners
• Prior experience in job coaching, social services, or a related field is a plus
