MISSION The mission of Pathways to College K8 is to prepare students for the challenge of higher education learning and to provide meaningful, stimulating, and educational opportunities to academically grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Behavior Interventionist performs tasks to aid in creating a learning environment that is accessible for learners with behavioral challenges. The classroom setting is full-inclusion, therefore the Behavior Interventionist will assist with all learners who may have emotional, educational, or behavioral problems. Requirements / Qualifications
Documents Required: > Resume > Cover Letter > Minimum of two (2) letters of reference within the past two (2) years > College transcripts showing a completion of at least 48 college level units Education and Experience: > College level coursework, preferably in education, child development, or special education. > Prior experience with special needs students is preferred. > Applied Behavioral Analysis experience preferred. > Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certificate or experience is preferred. > Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred Background Checks/Testing: > Must pass a Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting) > Provide a Negative TB test or clear X-Ray
