Pathways to Behavioral Support is searching for full time and part time therapists to work with our clients within the clinical setting. This may be you!

The Role of an ABA Therapist:

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one direct behavior intervention to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to teach communication, social, motor, play, adaptive-living, self-help skills and reduce problematic behavior. RBT’s will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis in the clinical setting based on the needs of the individual. Services are provided under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1 to 1 ABA therapy to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Collect data on behavior and report it to the supervisor
  • Work closely with the BCBA to implement behavior plans
  • Complete routine client paperwork
  • Ensure a positive, family-like atmosphere for the clients
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment for the clients
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition plans & behavior reduction plans Work as part of a team with other clinicians and therapists
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as needed
  • Follow all policies and procedures set forth in PBS handbook
  • Follow RBT Code of Ethics
  • Obtain & Maintain RBT credential Requirements:
  • Complete 40-hour Online RBT Training
  • Complete additional Hand-On Training with trainer to ensure competence
  • Must obtain (pass RBT exam) and maintain RBT credentials through the BACB
  • CPR Certification
  • Pass HIPAA Compliance Exam

Qualifications (Required for position):

  • 18 years or older
  • Minimum of High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clear Criminal Background Check
  • Willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher and/or enrolled in an undergraduate program in a related field
  • 2 years work experience with children
  • Experience in the field of ABA
  • Experience with challenging problem behaviors (aggression, self-injurious behavior, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
