What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Aide position at Pathways Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
Pathways Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are seeking Activities Assistant to join our team! Pathways Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 112 bed complex care nursing home specializing in: all Pediatric needs, Adult Ventilators, Adult Traumatic Brain Injury and Rehabilitation. Recently underwent a complete building renovation, Pathways offers a pleasant and modern work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities
Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Diploma or GED
Creativity
Experience with Alzheimers/Dementia and special needs is a plus.
Ability to self motivate
Flexible with schedule, occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
