Educational Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Certification (ANCC) preferred, but not required.
- Psychiatric nursing experience required.
- BSN: Minimum 1 year psychiatric experience
- ADN: Minimum 3 years psychiatric experience
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
- Must demonstrate proficiency using computers and electronic devices necessary for documentation and care delivery.
- Current RN licensure (in good standing).
- ANCC Psychiatric Nursing Board Certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- Provide nursing services to assigned consumers in accordance with Pathways policies and procedures.
- Support consumers receiving medications by collaborating with and assisting prescribers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, following established care plans.
- Serve individuals across the lifespan—children, youth, adults, and elderly—with physical and mental health needs.
- Perform all other duties as outlined in the current official job description.
