HVAC Tech/ Facilities Maintenance

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician & Facilities Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems, as well as assisting with general facility maintenance tasks when HVAC responsibilities are complete.

Compensation

• Pay is based on license level (Journeyman or Master) and years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the Facilities Director regarding issues, solutions, and associated costs.
• Present service recommendations and obtain approval prior to beginning work.
• Complete service documentation and job tracking using MaintainX software.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend upgrades.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients, staff, and other team members.
• Perform general building maintenance duties, including basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs, when HVAC workload permits.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on additional facility projects and repairs as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Journeyman HVAC License required.
• Master HVAC License preferred, or willingness and plan to obtain Master’s License in the near future.
• Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in HVAC service and facility maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with MaintainX or similar CMMS software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
