Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to exploration and growth.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and other interactive activities that encourage social and emotional development.
- Observe and document developmental milestones and behaviors to inform teaching strategies and communicate progress with families.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures, to ensure the well-being of every child.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
