Position Details:
- Main Office location: Kingston, PA
- Job Type: Full Time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel in the organization.
- Offer guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors, assisting them in continually enhancing hospice care services provided by the organization's personnel.
- Assist clinical personnel in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care.
- Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and volume fluctuations that could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel.
- Conduct annual evaluations of clinicians, or more frequently as required.
- Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records to comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for providing patient services.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new organization personnel. Plan and conduct in-service and continuing education programs to meet the needs of the team.
- Assist in evaluating organizational performance through performance improvement programs, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews, ensuring the quality and safe delivery of hospice services.
- Recommend and administer organization policies and procedures, while staying informed about changes in nursing and hospice care and sharing information with relevant personnel.
- Actively promote hospice referrals in the healthcare community.
Qualifications:
- Registered nurse in the State of PA with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master’s degree in hospice preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Has excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and ACHC standards.

- Salary Range: $90K-115K/Annual Salary
