LOCATION: Delta County
POSITION TITLE: Life Skills Technician (LST)
Primary responsibility will be with Children
POSITION STATUS: 40 hours weekly / DELTA T&SS Unit / Non-exempt
SALARY RANGE: $16.92/hr to $22.00/hr LST pay scale Plus full-time benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs supportive tasks in the care, training, safety and general well-being of recipients in Community Living Supports/Community Support. Provide a full range of direct care services in such areas as leisure/recreation, communication, religious, cultural, and educational activities; vocational pursuits; activities related to entertainment, development of work attitudes; development of living skills; volunteerism; relationship building; assistive technology; environmental modifications; and family support. Implement and provide only services assigned or determined in the Person-Centered Plan. This position requires flexible hours and days to include evenings, nights and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements; High school diploma or GED. Prefer one year of experience working in the Human Services Field. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Michigan driver’s license.
