Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Bridge Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil and bridge construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of heavy civil and bridge construction projects, ensuring alignment with contract documents, schedule, and budget
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and field teams to develop and maintain project schedules
- Manage project startup and documentation, including submittals, logs, budgets, and cost tracking
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and change order management
- Coordinate daily operations with Superintendents to maintain productivity and project milestones
- Lead weekly project meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders
- Review and approve pay applications, subcontractor scopes, and project deliverables
- Support project closeout, including final documentation, punch list completion, and client turnover
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 8 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on bridge and infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and field operations on complex civil projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
- OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
