Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Podiatry Assistant at Pathway Foot & Ankle Center in Melissa, TX. The Podiatry Assistant will work primarily on assisting the Podiatrist with daily activities such as call backs to patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. The Podiatry Assistant will also provide support during surgery and follow-ups, as well as prepare treatment rooms, clean equipment, and interact with patients when necessary.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in medical assisting or any related field
- 1-2 years of experience working in a relevant field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of medical terminologies and coding
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Great interpersonal skills and aptitude for working with patients
- Ability to work with computers and electronic health records
- Able to work in a team and with the Podiatrist

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
