Pathway Enterprises is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults with disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment. We are seeking an Employment Manager/Job Developer to lead our Employment Services Department, which includes Job Development and Supported Employment.
In this role, you will work closely with the Employment Director to oversee Job Coaches, coordinate daily operations, support department growth, and ensure individuals with disabilities receive the employment opportunities and supports they need to thrive in the Rogue Valley.
Essential Duties
- Lead job development activities, including employer outreach, proposals, and job searches.
- Manage intake for new participants and conduct initial skill assessments and job coach training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses; conduct in-person employer meetings and appointments.
- Respond to employer questions and concerns in a professional and positive manner.
- Serve as a resource and consultant to employers on disability inclusion.
- Advocate for the employment needs and interests of participants.
- Facilitate effective communication and relationship building among employers, participants, and job coaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services (preferred), or Associate’s degree with at least 4 years of management and/or disability services experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
