Job Title: Care Coordinator
Supervisor: Care Director
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours/week
FLSA Status: Hourly Employee, Non-Exempt
Summary:
The position of Care Coordinator at Pathway Community Church (PCC) plays a vital role in providing oversight to effectively recruit, train and support our Care volunteers in areas such as visitation, prayer team, and meal train. This individual also oversees all aspects of planning funerals held at PCC. The incumbent will seek to use their personal gifts and skills for the benefit of the church by contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of this ministry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, and train new and established Care volunteers
- Coordinate funeral preparations, working with families, volunteers, and funeral homes
- Collaborate with Care Director to oversee benevolence strategy
- Consistently communicate with Care volunteers to ensure timely distribution of necessary information
- Collaborate with Care department to provide excellent congregational care, i.e. counseling, community referrals, benevolence needs, food pantry assistance
- Maintain and update church database records and Care log
- Assist with Staff-on-Call needs
Supervision:
This job has supervisory responsibilities of volunteer team members and leaders, and may control work methods, tasks, and/or other activities assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; preference given to individuals with 2-4 years’ experience, preferably in a care ministry related field.

Salary : $31,900 - $40,400
