Pathway Bank is a community bank with deep roots in agriculture. Due to growth, we’re adding a loan officer to our team to serve agricultural and commercial customers throughout the Burwell and Ord areas and build new relationships. Compensation includes the potential for loan incentives, performance-based bonuses, and a company-provided vehicle, depending on portfolio performance. You’ll develop and manage an agricultural and commercial loan portfolio, with training and support based on your experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building customer relationships to meet lending, deposit, and service needs
- Understanding customers’ operations, cash flow, and financing needs to provide practical lending guidance
- Analyzing credit and financial information to structure sound loans
- Monitoring portfolio performance, credit quality, and risk
- Growing the portfolio, deposits, and use of bank services
- Collaborating with team members and participating in community activities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, agriculture, finance, accounting or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Agricultural lending experience and knowledge of farming and ranching operations are highly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in agribusiness, lending, banking, financial services, or a related field required.
- Ability to build strong working relationships within the organization and develop professional relationships with customers and business associations.
