What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Engineer - AI & Full-Stack - SF Bay Area position at PathPilot Agents?
We’re looking for a founding full-stack engineer to help us build the systems that will run financial operations.
At PathPilot, we’re building an AI workforce for Lending — agents that handle support, collections, onboarding, and compliance end-to-end. These aren’t copilots. They execute real workflows in production environments where money, risk, and trust are involved.
This is not just a coding role — it’s a chance to own product decisions, shape technical direction, and build the foundation of a platform that’s transforming financial operations globally.
The result is that fintech companies struggle to scale. As volume grows, headcount has to grow with it.
We’re building a different path. PathPilot is the AI layer that sits at the center of these operations, where agents don’t just assist but actually execute workflows. They handle conversations, negotiate payments, verify documents, and enforce compliance in real time.
If we get this right, fintechs won’t just become more efficient — they’ll be able to offer better products, operate at lower cost, and ultimately offer better access to capital to people.
What You’ll Do
PathPilot was founded by engineers (Ex-Meta) who have built and scaled production systems at top tech companies and startups. Started PathPilot after seeing firsthand how manual and fragmented financial operations still are — especially in lending, where teams spend countless hours on workflows that should be automated but can’t be easily replaced due to compliance and complexity.
