Potential Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality diagnostic pathology services based on the needs of the assigned practice
- Collaborate with general and subspecialty pathologists, clinicians, laboratory operations teams, and client services
- Participate in applicable quality, accreditation, and regulatory compliance activities
- Support laboratory quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives
- Provide clinical consultation to physicians and other healthcare partners
- Participate in practice-specific call coverage and scheduling models
- Contribute to a collegial, collaborative, and physician-led practice environment
- Assume medical leadership responsibilities when applicable to the available position
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
- Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise welcomed but not required for every opportunity
- Tennessee medical license or eligibility required
- Strong diagnostic, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Leadership experience welcomed for positions involving medical directorship responsibilities
