Answering phones, fielding calls, and checking main voicemail
Assist people coming into the lobby.
Knowledge and compliance with office policies and procedures
Compliance in dealing with confidential information
Organizing and filing paperwork into charts
Organizing and filing histology slides
Pulling charts when reports are uploaded & placing them in doctor’s box
Contacting lab when there are issues/corrections with tox reports
Scanning & uploading miscellaneous documents
Qualifications:
High school diploma. Proven experience with files and organization, understanding of medical terminology, proficiency in the operation of a desktop computer with database(s), and accurate data entry and filing with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with phones and visitors.
