Position Overview
Pathforge Learning is seeking enthusiastic Volunteer Summer Camp Assistant
Coaches to support campers in fun, hands-on STEM activities this summer.
Volunteers will assist instructors in creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative
environment. No advanced coding experience is required—just a positive attitude,
willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for working with kids. This role is a great fit for high
school and college students seeking community service hours, leadership experience,
or STEM education exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Camper Mentorship: Support instructors as campers explore coding, robotics,
3D printing, and digital art projects.
- Small-Group Support: Help individual campers or small groups troubleshoot
projects and stay engaged.
- Camp Logistics: Assist with check-in, check-out, snack breaks, and daily
transitions.
- Lab Organization: Set up equipment, organize materials, and help maintain a
safe, tidy classroom.
- Foster Fun: Encourage teamwork, creativity, and a positive, fail-forward mindset.What We Are Looking For
- At least 15 years old.
- Interest in gaming, robotics, programming, digital art, or STEM.
- Patient, energetic, and enjoys working with children.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
