What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Call Center Representative position at Pathfinders Inc?

Responsibilities:

  • Respond timely and accurately to phone calls, e-mail, walk in participants,
  • Ability to answer questions, explain claim payments and claim denials
  • Ability to research eligibility or claim issues, update eligibility with outside vendors
  • Document all phone calls in the Customer Service module
  • Enter enrollment forms, process special fund claims, process disability claims
  • Monitor incoming calls and calls waiting via call management systems
  • Pick up and handle messages from nightline
  • Work on special projects as requested by Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Must have 1 year or more of experience in a medical insurance call center
  • Must type 40 wpm
  • Bilingual speaking is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Details:

  • Full Time: M-F 8am-5pm
  • Pay: $25.00-$29.00
  • Job Type: On-site
