Assistant Ancillary Team Leader/Cook
The Assistant Ancillary Team Leader/Cook will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of food preparation in the Central Kitchen, housekeeping duties, and Cooper Transport services have been accomplished on a daily basis. Duties include:
- Providing meals for school students and day staff
- Providing management, supervision, assignments, guidance, and direction to staff within the dietary department in the absence of the Ancillary Team Leader.
- Ensuring all regulations set forth by the NYS Health Department are continuously met
- Assisting with inventory and supply ordering for housekeeping and dietary.
- Management of on the job training of new staff, prevocational participants, and interns, including ongoing professional development and evaluations.
- Overseeing meals, refreshments, services, and staffing for special events.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year's experience in food service, long term or acute care dietary is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Valid NYS Driver's license
The hourly rate of pay starts at $18 an hour and is commensurate with experience.
