The Culinary Manager oversees all food service operations for Pathfinder Bakery & Café and The Farmstead at Pathfinder Village. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality food production, exceptional customer experiences, regulatory compliance, and efficient business operations. Some duties include:
Oversee all daily food service operations for Pathfinder Bakery & Café and The Farmstead.
Develop and implement systems that support efficient workflow and productive kitchen operations.
Collaborate with leadership to develop menus, seasonal offerings, and specialty products.
Lead, train, and support culinary employees through scheduling, coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
Ensure compliance with all Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture and Markets (Ag & Markets), food handling, and workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's in culinary arts, hospitality management, food service management, or a related field
- Required: Experience overseeing inventory management and vendor purchasing
- Preferred: Experience working in educational, vocational, or mission-driven organizations
- Preferred: ServSafe certification
- Preferred: 3 years of supervisory or management experience in food service, culinary operations, or hospitality
The hourly rate of pay is $23.
