Position: Art Teacher
Job Description: Instructor of Art in classes to be taught to students in grades 9-12. Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School is a four-year regional vocational technical high school serving approximately 650 students and currently offering fifteen technical programs. The district is currently expanding with a new extended campus located in the former Cold Spring School in Belchertown, Massachusetts. The Belchertown campus is scheduled to open in September 2026 and is expected to serve approximately 100 students during its first year of operation.
Qualification:
1. Undergraduate preparation in Art or related field.
2. Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
3. Experience for five or more years teaching Art at the secondary level preferred.
4. Candidates must be licensed in Visual Art as established by the Massachusetts Department of
Elementary and Secondary Education.
Performance Responsibilities:
●Plan and deliver well-structured lessons.
●Deliver content as outlined in the Arts Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.
●Assess students through a variety of assessment methods.
●Regularly contact and have 2-way communication with parents and families.
●Regularly reflect on the effectiveness of lessons and units, and respond accordingly.
●Collaborate with academic and vocational staff in order to deliver the highest level of instruction possible.
Compensation:
$57,836-$100,154
