What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Anticipated) Science Teacher (Physics) position at Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School?
Position:
Teacher of science with a probable schedule consisting of Introductory Physics in a four-year regional vocational technical high school with an enrollment of approximately 650 students in sixteen technical programs.
Qualifications:
●Candidates must be appropriately licensed as established by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
●Undergraduate preparation in Science.
●License in Physics preferred.
●Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
Performance Responsibilities:
●Teach classes in accordance with state frameworks and approved curriculum.
●Plan and deliver well-structured lessons as stated in the Massachusetts Teacher Evaluation Rubric
●Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and deliver well-structured units of instruction.
●Provide assistance, support, and specialized instruction to students in classes as needed.
●Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
●Perform other duties as assigned.

$57,836-$100,154
