Science Teacher
Position: Instructor of science with an anticipated schedule consisting of life sciences courses, at a four-year regional vocational technical high school with an enrollment of approximately 640 students in fifteen technical programs.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's Degree required.
● Master's Degree preferred.
● Licensed in Biology by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
● Sheltered English Immersion endorsement
● Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
Performance Responsibilities:
● Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
● Work collaboratively to align curriculum to the MA Curriculum Frameworks.
● Use data from formative and summative assessments to inform instruction.
● Teach classes in accordance with state frameworks and approved curriculum.
● Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and deliver well-structured units of instruction.
● Provide assistance, support, and specialized instruction to students in classes as needed.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation: Salary Range: $56,016 - $97,001
Position Type: Full-time school year position with benefits.
Effective Date of Position: Available Immediately
